Alvin will have acquired his own little carrier pigeon to send messages, so he'll have one stationed at the main carrier pigeon place that will come and find him.
In the meanwhile, this is the entry for any private messages that are delivered via the carrier pigeon system.

But that snaps Gengar's attention back to Alvin, a slanted tilt to her eyes (she has no brow) until she realises what's happened.
She got told on.
And with that, Gengar smacks the weapon down with a clang that's followed by the most shortest-lived fit of arms waving and voice raving at this injustice, before her expression turns dark with her pupils disappearing and the red of her eyes starting to glow, and her tongue rolls itself back out to waggle at the raspberry directed the man's way with spit going everywhere.

...Also, once more: GREAT FUCKING SPIRITS MAXWELL— Immediately raising an arm to shield himself.]
The hell, Red!? She just splattered me with her spit!
[On the plus side she doesn't have the flamethrower. Which means he is totally going to try and grab her again.]

[ DUHHHH.
What Red should have probably warned for, however, is what an awful idea going after Gengar is when she's got her tongue out, and how she can extend that out to slobber him up properly in one, large slimy lick.
Which also has that horrible chance of giving an individual the case of the shakes--or, to be kind, a tingly face. Oh dear.
How unfortunate shall Alvin be on this day? Find out in the next exciting tag. ]

A warning would have been nice!! But what the hell should I do now??
no subject
Don't run at her again? [ What was he supposed to do in that short of time--!
He couldn't warn then, and he can't warn for the jump she takes herself next, feet landing onto the end of his desk and then flopping down she adjusts herself into a sitting position with tiny-crossed-legs, and now that face has slipped away in an instant: still grinning as widely as ever, but her pupils back, and she's posed like the elegant lady that she is, a tune whistling behind her teeth.
Teeeee heeeeee. ]

And he is definitely stepping back when she jumps onto the ground—fucking hell he's acting as if he's afraid of the—well she is considerable in size, really. And has giant ass tongue. AND CLEARLY HAS A VERY STRANGE PERSONALITY okay he has legit reasons to be cautious here.]
Oh, now she's acting all cute.
[Dry voice is very dry.]
no subject
You're scared of her. [ Scared, cautious-- whatever you like. ] Whatever she does she knows you're going to be wary of her--that's the kind of games she plays. Haven't you noticed that by now?
[ And while they're mind chatting, a faint black smoky tendril will slip down the side of the desk and crawl over to the gun-thrower, nudging it over to Alvin.
There you go. There's the toy you wanted. ]

Do people really use those things on ghosts? What's super effective about fire against ghost types?
no subject
What.]
Hold on—lick my energy?? Is that what she was trying to do???
no subject
I just said she wasn't!
[ She has no idea what's going on, but Gengar will still bring out a small portion of her tongue to waggle side by side. Blehhhhh. ]
no subject
[Here, have a replay, Red.
He's not panicking, let's be clear on that. However. It's understandable that his brain may have switched into a mode where he's considering Gengar more like a wild animal or monster, and is now factoring all potential threats of said creature.]
no subject
She's playing. She does it because it looks spooky! [ How has this guy apparently had three or four visits and not get what Gengar is like by now. ] What were you trying to do jumping at her?
no subject
You call that playing? [Clearly not convinced.] I was just trying to grab her so she wouldn't do anything else!
no subject
[ Except looking dramatically bored, the tip of her tongue still hanging out but her mouth and eyes slanted. Bleeehhhhhh. ]
no subject
Yeah, yeah fine. I'll deal with her and send her home. But you should pay more attention to what she gets into. You're her trainer, aren't you?
[Implying part of this is Red's fault for not training her well.]
no subject
Yeah, I should've been more careful with those stupid things. [ He can actually accept that. ] But people shouldn't be handing them out in the first place. [ Ugh, now he's feeling all sorts of annoyed. ]
I don't know why she'd go and take one to you. [ Mhhrrr. ] Gengar...
[ And whatever you two, Gengar is stiiiill going to take that sluggish walk towards the door. This is boring!!! ]
no subject
Well not like you could have known. [Easing off some of that irritation.] I have the thing so I'll see if I can figure out who gave it to her. In the meantime—
[...Oh no you don't young lady.]
She can understand me, right?
[And going to call to her. Not angrily, but. Well he can't make sudden movements.]
no subject
Her face doesn't perk up, but she does stop, raising her pupils to him. Whaaaat, she's busy being miserably bored here. ]
no subject
All right, I'll see if I can work something out with her before sending her home.
[Maybe he can bribe her. Or you know. Look if she wants to have fun, he doesn't mind "playing" with her a little but she has to learn to tone it down some.]
no subject
Just send her outside. I'm nearby.
[ Which is home! ]
no subject
[And cutting the feed.
...All right Gengar. He's giving you a bit of a worn out look, but he's just going to point blank ask her if she likes coming over here and if she wants to continue coming over to, uh. Visit him.]
no subject
Shruuuuugg! ]

And she'll start heading to the door with a wave and a sound quite like bleerrrgh. Bye bye! ]
