14/12; messenger bird

[Nope, he's just deliberately small feeding because... Well these are little notes. If he put down everything the poor bird wouldn't be able to take off.]

But who is "Selestiya" and a ponyta—oh wait, does he mean Celestia the flying pony horse thing? Okay, now he gets it.]

Let's see. When I said there were heated discussions, I really mean it. The biggest concern is as you mentioned—not wanting someone to be detrimentally affected by having their emotions swayed like that. There were also some implications that apathy may not be so harmless as an emotion and could actually be dangerous. However, it also sounded like that only applied to us. The locals don't seem to find apathy that dangerous. Then again, with our emotions seemingly stronger, I wouldn't be so surprised if that kind of difference is true.

There was also talk of creating some kind of barrier to help protect the city from any future attacks from the remaining Arehtei, as well as other methods to try diffuse the influence that the Arehtei can bring.
[He almost references Sosyne, but then stops himself. Instead he just switches the flow slightly.] I can see their point, but there were arguments that doing that won't really solve any of the core problems with the Arehtei. Gwendolyn was really defensive over the Arehtei, that's for sure.

That led to discussions about needing more information and the Arehtei needing to stop hiding what they know. We got some more bits and pieces from what people heard, like the war and the Arehtei being asleep. Similar things that you found out. One guy actually learned that the Arehtei may not be immortal, and that Piphron may be the oldest one around for this generation of Arehtei. We have no idea what would happen if one died or what happens for a new one to be born. In any case, it sounded pretty ominous.

As for the reps, there's actually a lot of support for it. I might have a couple down, but no real confirmation yet. I'm willing to put myself for Piphron whenever it happens, too. The only thing is I don't have the time to organize the whole thing, so going to have find someone else to take the reins.
